Madison's Rabbits

Madison and her mum brought in their 10 week old bunnies.
They are Mini Lop rabbits, their names are Honey, Billy and Snowflake.

Figurative Language

Onomatopoeia
We have been learning how to make our writing more interesting by using a variety of Figurative Language in our stories. This week we had a focus on onomatopoeias. We brain stormed sounds, wrote sentences and practiced by writing couplets.

Term 2 Project Prepartion

Room 15 have been working very hard all week to present their learning about the body. Each pair of students  had 2-4 questions which they have researched and written into their own words. These are some photos of the students as they were completing their research or making their dioramas and posters. 

First Aid

This week Room 16 have attended a First Aid course facilitated by Red Cross New Zealand.

The students have been Introduced to basic hands-on first aid skills for emergency situations.

All students received a certificate upon completion.

We learnt our DRS ABCD Danger, Response, Send for Help, Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Defibrillator

We are now all First Aid People Savers!
