Yesterday Olie's Dad Kjell came in and taught us some things about Sweden. Then he helped us make some cinnamon rolls.

These are the cinnamon rolls Kjell helped us make.

They were awesome !!  Thank you Kjell !!

Dune Planting

Today we walked to Tay Street with Room 3 and Room 12 to help with the restoration of the sand dunes. We planted spinifix and learnt how it is a sand binding plant that builds up the dunes. By doing this the dunes protect our homes, and provide homes for insects, birds and lizards.
Even though it was cold to start with we had fun planting and helping the younger classes with this important task.

Please respect and look after our dunes by keeping to the accessway paths so we will always have our fantastic beaches.
